The Apeiron Custom Design Service is organized to
provide clients with an easy and alternative solution
to the limitations of mass produced area rugs.
Depending on size, location and other variables
hand woven or hand tufted techniques are
employed to bring your vision to life and exquisitely
express the unique characteristics of any space.
Custom pricing is based on, materials, knots per
square inch and pile height. All design fees are
built into the per square foot cost. There are no
hidden or additional fees. For a free consultation or

The Custom Design Process happens in approximately 4 steps:
Vision A meeting is arranged to acquire an understanding of the environment and preferences of the Client and
Designer’s intent. Together we explore various options and select the overall color scheme. If a unique shape is
required, such as a curved staircase or room, measurements are taken and a template is created to ensure an exact fit.
Design In about 1-2 weeks, a line drawing and computer renderings that explore color options are created capturing the
client and designer’s vision. Adjustments to the rendering and color palette are made and approved.
Sample A 2 x 2 foot strike off is produced for color and quality approval in about 3 - 4 weeks.
Production Once the sample and all adjustments are approved, the finished product takes between 12 - 16 weeks for
manufacturing and delivery. Updates occur on a regular basis during the manufacturing process. The floor covering is
shipped to Apeiron Design for inspection and release.
