Designed for a mountain resort near the Continental
Divide, this stair runner needed to overcome two
main challenges.  First, the shape of the staircase
contained a curve, so an exact template was cut to
the dimensions of the staircase and sent to the
manufacturer. Second, the staircase was very narrow
and dark at one end.  

The inspiration for the design is based on the
changing Aspen tree leaves from dark green to light
gold in the fall, and then combined with a brilliant
colored field, this runner provided an optimal
solution in the form of reflective light.
